About the role
Remote Area Nurse to join their team in a permanent FIFO position. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a two-nurse clinic, delivering primary health care to a remote community while being supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team.
This role would suit a confident Remote Area Nurse who enjoys working autonomously while building strong relationships within the community.
Key responsibilities
- Acute presentations and emergency response
- Chronic disease management
- Primary health care assessments
- Women's health and child health
- Health promotion and community engagement
- Participation in an on-call roster
Requirements
- Previous Remote Area Nursing experience (essential)
- Current AHPRA registration
- REC and MEC certificates desirable
- Ability to work confidently in a small remote clinic environment
- Strong emergency and primary health care skills
