About the Role- Part Time, 70 Hours Per fortnight

Bayside Health - Regional Care Group, Leongatha Hospital, is seeking applications from suitably experience Registered Nurses to take on the role of a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Permanent Nights. The role will have responsibility for assisting the coordination and supervision of staff at Leongatha Hospital General Ward & UCC, as well as providing support to the Nurse Unit Manager. Mandatory Requirements

• Applicants should be registered nurses with relevant knowledge, experience, and have sound communication, organisational and teamwork skills with the ability to administer complex workloads and provide on the floor and management.

• Must be able to work Night Shift

• Management or leadership experience

• Registered Nurse holding registration to practice and entitlement to work within Australia

• A Police Check that is current and within 12 months of the issue date

• Provision of valid Working with Children Check

• Seasonal influenza vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with Secretary, Department of Health Directions

• Evidence of ongoing self-development.

• Demonstrated capability of working as "in-charge" of a shift.

Desirable

• Post-graduate qualification in relevant area in healthcare/nursing or management or working towards Masters
